Operating Methods And Functions Of Hydraulic Vibratory Pile Drivers
The excavator vibratory pile hammer type is a construction device that uses high-frequency vibration to reduce the friction between the pile and the surrounding soil, allowing the pile to sink smoothly into the soil under its own weight or additional pressure. Unlike impact hammers and pneumatic hammers, the vibro hammer for excavator type uses vibration rather than impact, resulting in lower construction noise, higher efficiency, and less impact on surrounding buildings.
The excavator mounted vibratory hammers type mainly has two operating methods:
1. Vibratory Pile Driving
A hydraulic motor drives an eccentric block to rotate at high speed, generating high-frequency vertical vibration. This brings the soil around the pile to a near-liquefied state, reducing friction, and the pile sinks into the soil under its own weight and appropriate pressure.
2. Vibratory Pile Extraction
Utilizing vibration to reduce pile-soil friction, combined with a crane for extraction, this method is extremely efficient and is often used for temporary structures or pile recovery after construction.
